THE BEACON WORKS WAY

Lighting the way to a more inclusive workplace in Scotland and throughout the UK

Turning workplace barriers into breakthroughs with expert workplace assessments, neurodiversity coaching, and assistive technology solutions.

SUPPORT THAT’S BUILT AROUND YOU

Who we are

For over 12 years, Beacon has been a steady point of reference in Scotland’s disability and workplace support landscape. A small, family-run team supported by a trusted network of specialist assessors, trainers, and coaches.

We combine high-level expertise in workplace ergonomics, sensory and physical health, neurodiversity, and assistive technology with a personalised, non-judgemental approach.

Every assessment, coaching session and recommendation is shaped around the individual — their strengths, their environment, and the way they learn best.

WORKPLACES THAT WORK

Why it matters

Unmet needs within the workplace can extend the time it takes for a new employee to reach their full potential, or lead to employees underperforming.

Both outcomes limit an employee’s ability to contribute at their best. In the longer term, failure to make reasonable adjustments can lead to:

  • Increased risk of litigation
  • Increased risk that the employee will leave.
  • Disciplinary or performance monitoring measures

ADDING VALUE TO YOUR TEAM

By putting the right support in place early, Beacon helps employers

Reduce the level of intensive support and training required over time.

Deliver training in a way that matches the individual’s learning needs, so they get more from it.

Help the employee become a valued, contributing member of the team who can be the best version of themselves.
